Oddly enough I wondered about that some time ago. At what point does it lose its holiness, or does it ever? I had this scene that I wanted to turn into a fic based on an image I had of Xander standing on the roof of Buffy's house peeing holy water down on a crowd of attacking vampires, gleefully aiming for the ringleader (Spike?) but not quite managing to reach him. :-) Unfortunately I never got beyond writing the first few scenes because I couldn't come up with a larger plot to hang it on but it still haunts me.
